In 2016, the english magazine Wired UK, a spin-off of the Californian Wired (San Francisco), asked me for an illustrated portrait of the founder of Snapchat, Evan Spiegel, for its special issue over the 100 most influential European figures in the field of digital innovation.
The magazine art director Andrew Diprose, I was collaborating on Wired for several years, was looking for a digital, dry and clean style for an illustration with a pop flavor. Vector graphics, a sector in which I specialize, and my dotted half tones seemed to be the most right and natural choice.
