Recently I've been asked by Internazionale to collaborate at the realization of the father's day issue cover. It was the 35th issue of the magazine I collaborate with in over six years.
There couldn't be a better way to celebrate this collaboration.

For this cover We choose a very clear and simple style with deep black outlines and few colors, adding some beat tone textures giving to the cover a pop-art appeal.
As usual the cover illustrate the main article of the magazine, this time the article is a small trip in the history of paternity, by a journalist of the Zeit, explaining how the father's role in growing up children has changed.
As usual, everything starts with some sketches. The Photo Editor, Maysa Moroni, and the Editorial Director, Giovanni De Mauro, asked Me to work on a very simple and pop image. Trying not to be too much conceptual but more direct.
It's always engaging working in a team, do you want also to create an illustrated cover for your book, magazine or corporate brochure?
