The client, a startup launching an online therapist search website, asked me for an illustration to apply on a promotional travel mug to promote both the foundation and its website.

The initial phase, as always, involves some drafts visualizing the client's concepts and objectives as clearly as possible.

The client asked me to create an illustration for a promotional travel mug to advertise the foundation's main activity in a clear and direct way: helping people find the right therapist based on their own needs.

My initial suggestion was to not to settle on a common illustration, but instead to create an appealing but simple image so that, after drinking from the mug, the consumer would be encouraged to collect the take-away cup, thus ensuring a longer life of the promotional message.

A mug on the desk is a ready-to-use business card and also allows for simple word of mouth communication with customers, relatives and friends.

Often, especially when it comes to startups, even if the work seems finished the client may have second thoughts, in these cases it is my job to help him through different alternatives in order to allow him to understand if the visuals we created are in line with his idea and expectation.

After trying different paths we returned to the initial idea.
